Graduate Trainee Program

At RSA, we are dedicated to provide the best for our employees. Our commitment to create a learning culture is best demonstrated through our two-year Graduate Trainee Program. We believe our trainees are capable of developing successful career path and making meaningful contributions to our company.

We are now the Hong Kong Association of Graduate Recruiters (HKAGR) corporate member and Eddie Wong, HR Director in HK, is now one of the committee members who look after the organization of HKAGR event.

Back to 10 July 2009, the HKAGR organized an event so-called the Graduate Panel with the aim of sharing best practice on graduate trainee program in terms of recruitment, development and retention. Six recent graduates were invited to share their actual experiences in the last 12 months. The panel was formed by graduate trainees from Swire, Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Ernst & Young and of course, RSA in HK. Our Anita Fan has joined the panel and Jessie Law is one of the participants in this event. Both of them are the 2008 graduate trainees in HK.

On the day, the HKAGR invited Mr. Ben Reeves, CEO of the Australian Association of Graduate Employers, as the facilitator of this event. There were more than 40 audiences and the workshop was conducted in a cordial atmosphere. The Graduate Panel shared how exciting their programs were while some of them told the audience the biggest challenge they faced and how they solved it.

"When people heard that we are offered a 3-week training in London, and also a comprehensive and fully interactive development program, they showed their appreciation. We feel thankful that we had chance to join the graduate program of RSA and will treasure what we have. We will strike to the best to develop myself and contribute back to RSA simultaneously. " - Jessie & Anita

Eddie concluded that after sharing with other MNCs, I would say that we have developed a world-class Graduate Trainee Program within the Group and this will definitely one of the sources to build our top talent pipeline within the Group.
