Royal & SunAlliance Won the Caring Company Award for the Fourth Consecutive Year

For the past four years, Royal & SunAlliance has been nominated by the Hong Kong Red Cross and won the Caring Company Award of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in recognition of our enduring efforts in caring for the community.

Royal & SunAlliance has supported various community service activities last year. Being a close partner of Hong Kong Red Cross, we sponsored the publicity program of the World Blood Donor Day 2005 run by Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service. The campaign is to show appreciation to blood donors and motivate more people to give blood. Besides material donation, we also solicited support for the Taikoo Place Blood Donation in July last year. With our great effort in promoting the activity, more than one-third of our colleagues joined this meaningful activity to give blood and care to the needy.

In addition, we have joined the Green Power Hike, Dress Casual Day and a number of recycling campaigns and fund raising activities.

We are so proud of winning this award again. We aim to set a good example in collaboration with social service sector to care for the community.
