Claim Procedure

MotorGuard - Private Car Insurance


If you need to file a Private Car Insurance claim:

  1. Please notify your agent, broker or us immediately.
  2. Provide us with the Completed Claim Form, copy of vehicle registration document (both side), driving licence, police report and rough sketch of the accident with respective documents:
    1. For Own Damage: Quotation from the garage
    2. For Claim involving Third Party: Third party's name, address, vehicle registration number and make of the vehicles, motor insurer and policy numbers, name and address of witness
    3. For Theft of Car: Police report

Please Note:

  • Always report a car accident to the police if:
    1. Someone is injured
    2. It involves a 3rd party where dispute arises.
  • For towing service, please call our 24-hour hotline at 2854 2666
  • Do not make any admission of liability or promise to pay any third party without our written consent.
  • We should be able to process your claim and contact you within three days of receiving all the relevant documents.
