MaidGuard - Domestic Helper Insurance


If you need to file a Domestic Helper Insurance claim:

  1. Please notify your agent, broker or us immediately.
  2. Provide us with the Completed Claim Form with respective documents:
    1. For Employees' Compensation:
      • Leave 3 days Form 2B and a supplementary form from insurer;
      • 7 days Leave > 3 days Form 2
        Scenario A: No permanent incapacity resulted, can choose direct agreement upon mutual agreement between employer and employees
        Scenario B: Permanent incapacity resulted, assessment by Labour Department with Form 5 & Form 7
      • Leave > 7 days Form 2, Form 5 &/or Form 7
  3. For Hospitalisation: Original medical receipt &/or consent letter, HKID copy if necessary
  4. For Out-Patient: Original medical receipt
  5. For Dental Expense: Original dental expense receipt & consent letter
  6. For Repatriation / Return of ashes: Medical report & original carrier receipt

  • Remember not to answer any correspondence, admit liability or enter into any settlement agreement without our prior consent
