If you need to file a Home Contents Insurance claim:
- Please notify your agent, broker or us immediately.
- Provide us with the Completed Claim Form with respective documents:
- For Household Contents: Photos and original invoice of damaged items or quotation for repair / loss report in case of loss
- For Alternative Accommodation: Seeking insurer's approval first (Detail breakdown of cost with original receipts)
- For Death & Permanent Disablement: Death certificate and original medical report
- For Burglary/Robbery Injury: Original sick leave certificate & medical receipt/ report
- For Damaged Locks/Windows: Photos of the damaged items with original receipt
- For Freezer Contents: Original purchase receipt for damaged items, photos of damaged items, proof of the ages of refrigerator and proof of cause
- For Temporary Removal: Original receipt of purchase
- For Domestic Servant's Effects: Original receipt of damaged items
- For Employees' Compensation: Please refer to Domestic Helper Section
- For Personal Possessions: Police Report and Original Receipt of properties
Please Note:
- In the event of theft, vandalism or malicious act, report to the police immediately within 24 hours.
- Don't forget to keep any damaged items in case an on-site survey is needed from us. Nonetheless, dispose of any items that may be hazardous to you and or your children. If necessary, you can arrange for emergency repairs to your home.
